Principal Research Interests:
Keywords: Supramolecular and Macrocyclic Chemistry, Coordination-Driven Self-Assembly, Molecular Cages, Dynamic Stereochemistry, Chiral Crystals.

The research in the Andrew C.-H. Sue group involves the design, synthesis, and characterization of functional molecular architectures consisting of tailor-made highly symmetrical molecular building blocks. Our group look for creative ways to manipulate molecular recognition events and crystallographic symmetries by exploiting both covalent bonds and non-covalent interactions. The main goals are to construct complex systems and to investigate their emergent properties in solution and in the solid state.
