Dr. Xiaojiang XIE is now the author of 36 scientific publications in high impacting journals including 1 Nature Chemistry, 3 Journal of the American Chemical Society, 14 Analytical Chemistry and 3 Chemical Communications. He is strongly motivated in interdisciplinary research fields covering but not limited to chemical sensors with biological and theranostic relevance, optical nanosensors, solar energy conversion, synthetic molecular probes, protein engineering, fluorescence microscopy and photoswitching.
报告摘要:
Along with other topics, my research focuses on chemical sensors for various inorganic ions including Ca2+, Na+, Mg2+, K+, Cl-, NO3-, CO32- and so on. Ion carriers, also known as ionophores, have been used to make ion-selective sensors for several decades. Ion-selective electrodes and optodes are widely applied in clinical tests, industrial quality control, environmental monitoring and fundamental research labs. In this talk, I will coverthe basic principles of carrier-based ion-selective potentiometricsensors and optical sensors, photodynamic optical ion sensors, nanooptodes and photoelectric conversion.
