Chemistry - A Central Pillar of Human Culture
The public image of chemistry is low. In his talk he shall be telling you a very different story of chemistry that will focus on the universal aspect of chemistry. He will discuss the connection between molecules and love, sex, hate, sadness, addiction,…all the properties we call ”human”. As Mankind is made of matter, the same matter as any other matter, chemistry is the window given to us to glimpse into the mysteries of our material essence and come to terms with its limitations. As such, Chemistry is a central pillar of human culture.
