报告摘要:

The asymmetric synthesis of chiral compounds that contain new C-C and C-O bonds remains one of the most important types of synthesis in organic chemistry. Over the years, many different types of catalysts have been designed and used effectively to carry out such transformation. This talk will introduce the development of a novel class of ILS chiral pyrrolidine-based organocatalysts for the asymmetric organic reactions, including Michael addition, Aldol reaction, and domino reactions, in aqueous media providing the desired products with high stereoselectivity. In addition, the ILS chiral diamine ligands will also be introduced and used with transition metals Rh and Ir as catalysts for asymmetric transfer hydrogenation of ketones and α-keto phosphonates in water. This process provided the corresponding chiral secondary alcohol products in high enantioselectivity.

报告人简介:

倪步阔,博士,Texas A&M University-Commerce副教授。 1999年本科毕业于浙江大学化学系,2004年博士毕业于中科院上海有机所,师从麻生明院士。随后在美国Texas A&M University-Commerce大学从事博士后研究,并先后在该校担任助理教授、副教授。课题组主要从事均相催化特别是不对称催化研究。
